Minimalism, brutalism and a bit of edge

I love contradicting forces. Think of rough, exposed materials mixed with simple, purposeful design. Strong, basic shapes making a statement, and visible parts of the structure telling a story. Simple lines on a plain background, keeping things minimal.

I get a real kick out of turning metal into wearable pieces through banging, melting, and transforming. I'm a hands-on designer, and my style evolves as I go through the making process. I thrive on those happy mistakes that lead me down unexpected paths. It's not just about the end result for me; it's about the whole journey of manipulating metal and seeing where each piece takes me.

I find joy in merging different techniques—engraving, enamelling, stone setting, and raising objects from metal sheets—creating diverse pieces in my workshop in Dalston. Similar to the repetitive and meditative nature of running, chainmaking, keeps me in the zone.

Being a Hackney kid since 2000, my jewellery reflects the mixed spirit of the area. As a one-woman band in my Dalston workshop, I solely work with recycled silver and gold, steering clear of plating. I source conflict-free and ethically sourced precious stones from Hatton Garden and I'm all for lab-grown diamonds. Everything is handmade, reflecting my commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.

We all know that digging for gold and mining precious stones harms our planet and destroy vulnerable communities. I really don't want to be part of that.
